Dutch composer, Raimond Lap, is a highly-respected and well-known composer of music for film, television and radio. As the creator of the Lovely Baby CD series, and having spent many years testing and refining his music, today Mr. Lap is recognized as an international baby music expert. I received the Lovely Pregnancy CD. No I am not pregnant, but the music was celebratory, comforting and peaceful at the same time. The harmonies were beautiful and I can only imagine what it would be like to listen to the set while pregnant. Many times women bring in music to the labor and delivery room when they enter the hospital. I could definitely see these cd's being helpful with relaxing and also gaining a sense of excitement for the joy to come.
My daughter Emma loved listening to the music, even though it was geared towards pregnant moms, I could tell it was making her more relaxed also-- which can't hurt a two year old!
