Back to School Event {Kula Klips}

Kula Klips all started with some metal clips and some ribbon. Their styles of clips and hair accessories are ever changing, based on the current trends and styles.

My daughter Emma has very fine, unruly hair. If I leave it down, it looks like she is raised by wolves-- but with a simple little pretty Kula Klip, it stays in and tames the shag of a mop she has going on her head. The Kula Klip has silicone grip that grips the hair while staying in place. Yes, Emma, the baby wolf, still grabs at it and yanks it out, but on it's own, the Kula Klip stays in!
We also received some great accessories-- including a belt and a Kula Klip Case!

My older daughter loves the belt. It's cute and sassy and will definitely be wearing it come back to school time! 

The Kula Klip Case is fabulous! I think any mother of girls know, that hair accessories are not cheap-- they cost good earned money, but many times (at least in my household) the hair accesories of today are gone tomorrow. Either they get washed away or left in the car or tossed under the bed. But with the Kula Klip Case, it's not longer an issue. The Klips fit perfectly into the case with no hassle! The case easily fits 12 Kula Klips nicely.

Back to School Event {Faber Castell}

Supplies are a definite necessity for any back to schooler. From pencils to paper, crayons to colored pencils--  each and every year a child needs a new set of supplies. Any teacher will tell you, supplies in the classroom, makes their job to teach, 100% easier.  And nowadays, with budget cuts and low school funding, supplies are going by the wayside. It's up to the parents to fill in the gaps.

Back to School Event {Tassimo Iced Coffee}

If you know me, you know that I love a good cup of coffee in the morning. It wakes me up and gets me semi ready for the day. When back to school comes barreling around the corner (and it's coming ladies...), get ready for it with Tassimo!

I had the privilege to be able to review the Tassimo Single Serve Beverage System last Fall- and my life has never been the same! I enjoy delicious coffee house style coffee drinks all courtesy of my Tassimo machine. I have had the chance to try the other brands of coffee beverage systems, but in my personal opinion-- it does not stand a chance against the Tassimo brand! The coffee tastes better (hello-- Starbucks?!), the machine is quieter and it's just simply delicious!
The Tassimo people must have known that I was running low on coffee t-discs, because one afternoon I opened up the mail box and received boxes of the new Iced Coffee line! Both made by Gevalia, I got to try out their new Kaffee Black Iced Coffee and the Sweet and Creamy Iced Coffee. Both were stand-up-and-do-jumping-jacks GOOD! I could mix the Black Iced Coffee with my favorite creamer or milk and then the Sweet and Creamy Iced Coffee was like a sweet concoction from my favorite Barista-- YUMMY-- I didn't have to add anything to it-- it was perfect!

Back to School Event {Grandma Mable's Meal Planning}

Grandma Mable's is a meal planning subscription service that delivers delicious, easy-to-follow recipes straight to your in box! 

With school right around the corner, moms and dads across the nation are now trying to get back in to gear and settle in to the nightly meals together as families.Sometimes it's difficult though-- I find it hard to think of new meals that the family will like. I get bored easily with the same old, same old. This is why Grandma Mable's is so great! It eliminates the age old question of "what's for dinner tonight?"

Every week subscribers receive three entrees, two lighter meals, and one dessert. It's absolutley perfect for those nights when you just don't know what to fix! It fills in the gaps!

For $24 dollars per year, the subscription covers the weekly email with the recipes (that is 6 cents per recipe!!), the shopping list for the menus ingredients, and weekly cooking tips-- not to mention the time and money it saves you every week! 

I received a subscription for Grandma Mable's and was thrilled to get started making the recipes! They were simple to follow, family friendly and delicious. I loved going to the grocery store set with what I needed. There was no forgetting anything-- it was all right there in front of me!

How is Mable's Meals different than other menu planning guides?
First and foremost, all recipes are family friendly! Plus, we provide photographs of every recipe, which is helpful if you like to see what you're cooking first. We also give hints at the beginning of each guide to make cooking easier throughout the week.
How many people do the meals serve?
All menu guides serve four people but we've formatted the shopping lists for easy conversions. If you are serving two people, divide the shopping list by two. If you are serving eight, multiply the shopping list by two.

Back to School Event { Tea Collection }

Tea is a beverage that is shared in nearly every culture and country around the world-- Tea Collection is a company that exudes the basis of tea-- "offering inspiration, warmth and mindfulness" through their line of children's fashion and accessories.

I was so excited to be able to review two beautiful outfits from Tea Collection!! They were so nice to offer an outfit for both of my girls. Each outfit was designed in the style of old world Hungary. Hannah received the Covasna Floral Skirt and Folk Take Graphic Top. Emma received Nesting Doll Tee and the Solid Skirt. 


The Covasna Floral Skirt that Hannah received is just darling-- it's a playful poplin skirt with indigo block print design. It was named after a  rural town in Romania famous for its healing mineral waters. 
Emma's Nesting Doll Tee is so cute and feminine-- it comes complete with puff sleeves and a slight sheering at the chest. The nesting dolls really could not be cuter!
Tea Collection carries clothing with style, for kids (boys, girls and infants) from 6 months to 12 years! I really like that the sizes go up to 12 years old-- I love to coordinate my kids-- yeah, I am one of those moms-- with Tea Collection, they make it easy to find coordinating or matching outfits! The clothes feel great, look fabulous on, and washes fantastic!
Tea Collection also offers clothing for women-- I found a sweater or two I love! Come Fall, I will be definitely shopping Tea Collection!

Kernel Season's Popcorn Seasoning Review

I have kids and I have dogs. Both are messy and leave there marks on my carpeting. Whether it be from leaky sippy cups (my arch nemesis) or actual dirt the digs trail in-- my carpets always seem to be a mess.

Daily Threads Review

My daughter Hannah and I had the pleasure to review a super cute skirt by Daily Threads! 

Daily Threads is a company devoted to "raising the bar" when it comes to the basics in children's clothing. From pants to skorts to great cap-sleeved tee's-- All of Daily Threads products are made in the USA by superior standards and practices -- all design, fabric milling and production occur in Los Angeles, CA. . The clothing is made with care and the highest quality in mind. 

Our collections boast vibrant lively colors in updated basic styles with carefully crafted extra long t-shirt bodies, easy pull on and off pants and shorts with working drawstrings, and easy stretch neck seams for a perfect fit. Each style is cut from premium cotton and cotton blend fabrics to prevent pilling and fading. Daily Threads basic american style...seemlessly woven into the lives of you and your children.

The skirt I chose for Hannah is called the Lettuce Edge Tiered Skort. It comes complete with built in shorts for comfort and ease. Hannah hates having to wear separate shorts underneath skirts-- but with the way she plays, it's a necessity. The Daily Threads Lettuce Edge Skort takes the need for separate shorts out of the equation! SO NICE! It's also made of a extremely soft modal cotton.

Hannah chose her favorite color-- fuchsia! But there were so many other colors to choose from too-- which was nice! If you have a certain shirt that is hard to match-- for sure you will find something at Daily Threads that will go!

The skort washed exceptionally well. I washed it in cold water, like suggested and tumble dried on low. It came out of the dryer beautiful and vibrant-- like new!

The skort sells for $39.00. A little higher than the cheaper brand versions, but I say if a piece of clothing washes well and lasts, then it's like an investment. For sure this will be a piece that my younger daughter Emma can enjoy too when she is bigger!

JELLO Mousse Temptations Giveaway!!

So I have a guilty pleasure in the pudding aisle-- the only thing is I really don't have to feel all that guilty. Hmmm, ok, so I guess it could be called my guilt-free pleasure! JELL-O has a delicious snack pudding called Mousse Temptations. It's dark yummy chocolate pudding, but whipped up in to a decadent mousse. I am telling you ladies (and gents) that it should be guilty, but at 60 calories a tub-- it's just not.

I got to try their newest flavor-- Chocolate Mint Sensation. Delicious chocolate mixed with mint-- it could be a Girl Scout cookie, in mousse form! I loved the mousse, the kids loved the mousse, my husband didn't even get to try the mousse-- there was none left for him!
